Gruudom

Gruudom was a heavily inhabited city previously governed by the Gru entity. This city was first inhabited well over 500,000 years before Minions and the Gru entity moved to Terra to further their terror. Gruudom was the first of many of a lineage of cities called the, "doom" cities. These were cities meant for the most tortured souls of hell. And, Gruudom was the most popular out of these, and the most long-lasting. Gruudom succumbed to the harsh climate of the underworld well over 50,000 years ago, and barely has any evidence that it exists left in existence.

The city had an average population of 38,000 entities, but this number was sporadic and at the highest point of the city's existence it was up to 78,000 entities. The reasons for the sporadic increase and decreases of the population aren't known, but may relate to Minions potentially.

Gruudom's structural design was very similar to something like New York from Terra, and even had the nickname, "Newdom" by several tortured souls which knew about the Terran city. Other nicknames include, "Blood City," "DOUM," and many others which weren't used enough to matter.

The city's last official document is a text about the Gru entity leaving the city, and goes as follows (yet to be translated, may be an ancient Minionese language):
